He hasnt come out and said he wants to be at Ole Miss.....at least publicly. Which means LSU and Florida both have their hopes up that he may still choose them. But what if he is playing them like a fiddle? What if he is being mum on purpose, not to hurt Ole Miss, but to hurt LSU and Florida in recruiting? Causing them to put off pursuing other coaching candidates thus hurting those teams abilities to recruit.

Lane is a troll.....and hes a good one at trolling....its my conspiracy theory that behind the scenes hes already told Ole Miss to hold off on the extension and pay bump for another month, until after Early NSD where he can try to flip some of the players that LSU and Florida have committed. Not to mention the possiblity of bringing in portal players from those programs thus further hurting them.

What do you guys think? Am I crazy or does this actually make sense?
