Did we as a collective group seeking justice get what we wanted today? Absolutely not.
That should not diminish the value of the work that the Four Horseman have done to try and bring the facts to light.
I don’t know any of them personally but this isn’t their day job. They are not compensated for their efficacy or their ability to predict what the COI would hand down. I like to think that they are similar to public prosecutors who are overworked and underpaid, fighting like hell for the innocent that were preyed upon. Their opposition was powerful and well funded. The odds were always stacked against whatever evidence they could uncover.
It’s not going to be fun for them to have to look through their inboxes or Twitter mentions for the foreseeable future but I would like to raise a glass to the Four Horseman for all they have done throughout this entire saga. I feel like I have gained so many more friends in Buckeye Nation because of those Scandal Threads and I’m thankful for that.
We went to battle for the facts over the last few years and it truly felt like a battle between good and evil. That’s how the rivalry has always felt to me. The next chapter begins NOW and those Eleven Warriors on the field are the only ones who can deliver justice to those cheating bastards up north! But let history show that it was the Four Horseman that shined the light on their crimes and lit the flames of animosity towards those bastards for generations to come!
Long Live the Scandaleers!
