Lindsey will use the four-game redshirt rule to preserve a year of eligibility.
Last season, Lindsey recorded 12 catches for 76 yards. This season, he had three catches for 22 yards. Nebraska is off to a dreadful 0-4 start.
Of course, Lindsey's recruitment was a strange one. After being seemingly solidly committed to the Buckeyes for a period of months, he de-committed in the middle of the night on a Tuesday. He subsequently picked the Cornhuskers.
It is undetermined where Lindsey will land at this time.
