Today is the one year anniversary of my wife passing away. It feels like yesterday. I still struggle daily, but this site and its commenters are one of the things that has gotten me as far as I have. The staff has been amazing whenever I've reached out, the baseline for commenters is at least decent, and most importantly there is a core group of amazing humans. I'd list some, but I would feel awful if I forgot someone. You know who you are.

When you reply to a comment, you never know where the person is in their life. What to you is a quick little comment may have significantly more meaning to them, so take a second and choose kindness. I look forward every day to the interactions on this site.
