Off the heels of a solid portal season...a whatever National championship...and soon to be endless OC posts. I am curious...

I have a customer that is sending internal components to an engine for reverse engineering and to produce. Im just a business guy...not a machinist or a solidworks talent.

I spoke with an Altec distributor today and was honestly kinda "let down"...not by him but by the capabilities that come at 10s of thousands of dollars.

So I ask...what are your experiences with CMM scan tools and is there someone in Ohio that may have interest in sourced work?
