I'm not looking for a bunch of upvotes or anything like that. I'm mourning the loss of two friends in 8 days, with one last night hitting home hard.

Last Monday a great Buckeye MJ, didn't get to wake up.  He was a retired Navy Chief and an amazing human who loved everyone and helped anyone he could.  He was 60.

Yesterday Joe, also a retired Navy Chief, took his own life.  I hadn't talked to him in months, but he was always the guy living life, partying it up, and he loved everyone.  I hate that it must have gotten that dark for him. Joe was 45.

Call your friends you haven't talked to in awhile. If one good thing came from Joe, I've talked to so many people I served with many years ago, and I've got to tell many others how special and important they.

Life is short y'all. Take the time for the important things. We love the Buckeyes, but letting people know our phones are always on and we care is way more important than a game!!
