I grew up during the end of 8-tracks.

i probably own a lot of worthless cassette tapes I paid decent money for in my time.

My pride in the early 2000’s was a 200 CD carousel that I could hit random shuffle on.

probably near 3500 songs.

2nd date w/ my now wife, I hit random play on it & the song “something stupid” cues up & she to this day thinks I did that on purpose.  Since that very night we went for drinks & she told me she loved me.

does that sort of thing still happen now? I have more albums on my phone than that.
