Trying this bad boy on for the second week in a row, and I must admit, it feels nice. I’d like to start off the ramblings by telling one of the oldest Christmas stories…
On a dreary yet mild December day, three wise men four 11w contributors decided to meet in a barn at a bar to pay homage to a new born king the Ohio State Football team. Amid shameless upvoting (and I do mean shameless), inside jokes, and cheap domestics a distinct fedora like feature became apparent in the distant shadows of the neon lights of the temporary PL, a 5th contributor, and your 2016 MOD candidate, Earle himself, appeared from the hallway to join the nonsensical banter that was occurring. For the next two hours, all five men drank their favorite cheap domestic (or RC Cola), bantered aimlessly, and generally carried on like a usual Monday on the forums. Earle and Oyster were even civil with each other although neither will admit it, I even saw Oyster give Earle a hug, and help him put his walker in the trunk of the Buick when we all left.
Always good to see Oyster, APack, and Remy. Earle, welcome to the dark side!
I hope everyone has their shopping done by this point, or good luck fighting the crowds to get that special someone an overpriced token of your appreciation. Remember, sometimes the ones you care about most might just need a kind word in their life, like, “hey 07/10, thanks for covering my ass last Tuesday”. Just saying…
Drink of the week recommendation has to be Egg Nog. Now, I can’t claim to be an expert but I did see some good tips and recipes in this forum earlier in the week, so make some good nog. I also hope everyone gets to enjoy their holiday with friends, family, and loved ones and get to relax while doing it. An early Merry Christmas to all 11w dubbers.
