How does Tiger cope with all the haters?
Hmmm... Maybe his new yacht (shown above - sold the old one), his Gulfstream, and his 100's of millions in the bank help a little.

It appears that Tiger is both well-liked and not well-liked.
I looked up Tiger's "popularity" rating (Gallup). Pretty even split. 42% favorable, 42% unfavorable, 14% no opinion (unrecognized by only 1% - Very high recognition mark - astronomical for an athlete). Also, 50% of golf fans are more likely to watch televised golf if Tiger is playing. That's huge. No current PGA pro comes close to that "Elite Rainmaker" status.
All that said, his positive numbers have droped from 82% in 2002. But any way you slice it, Tiger is well liked by 10's of millions of fans in the US and 100's of millions worldwide (revered in China and claimed as an Asian champion).
Many think that Tiger is "aloof" or arrogant. Few understand the challenges he faces. Tiger has been getting death threats regularly since 1995. Security at all major golf venues strictly prohibit him from stopping, speaking to fans, or signing autographs except in rare designated situations.
Bottom line: Tiger is gonna muddle through "with us" or "without us"...
