I have dealt with neck and back pain for the better part of 15 years. I started going to the chiropractor about ten years ago, and in the beginning I had pretty good results. I am a very active person. I work a physical job, and I train for and compete in, 3 to 4 half ironman races a year. I am now going to the chiropractor twice a month with mixed results. Last fall I developed a bulging disc in my neck. Sometimes it feels alright, but other times it is unbearable. My Doctor mentioned to me that a cortisone shot might be able to help me. I'm looking for some input from those that have had this type of thing done. What can I expect? Did it help you?
