S Terry Moore, TE Hunter Welcing and QB Justyn Martin commit to Ohio State.
Dylan Raiola is staying in the Big Ten.
The former Nebraska quarterback committed to Oregon on Monday, setting him up to be the Ducks’ successor to Dante Moore in either 2026 or 2027.
Raiola, a former Ohio State commit who later flipped to Georgia before signing with Nebraska, heads to Eugene after two years in Lincoln, where he was Nebraska’s starting quarterback for the past two years. Raiola started 22 games as a Cornhusker, completing 69.1% of his passing attempts for 4,819 yards and 31 touchdowns with 17 interceptions across two seasons. His 2025 season was cut short by a season-ending leg injury.
Raiola committed to Oregon even though Ducks quarterback Dante Moore has not yet announced a decision on whether he will enter the NFL draft. Raiola did not redshirt at Nebraska, so he could potentially take a redshirt year as Moore’s backup if Moore stays at Oregon for his senior year. That said, Moore has been projected to be selected as highly as the No. 2 overall pick if he declares for the draft. Wednesday is the deadline for players to declare for early entry into the 2026 NFL draft.
Should Raiola be Oregon’s starting quarterback when the Ducks play Ohio State in 2026, he would make his second start in Ohio Stadium, previously playing at the Shoe as Nebraska’s starting quarterback in 2024.
Raiola was committed to Ohio State from May 2022 to December 2022 before decommitting. While Raiola was the No. 1 overall prospect in the 2024 recruiting class at the time of his commitment to Ohio State, he finished as the No. 3 quarterback in the 247Sports Composite behind Julian Sayin and DJ Lagway. Sayin initially signed with Alabama before transferring to Ohio State in January 2024 following the retirement of Nick Saban.
