How confident was Northwestern heading into today's paycheck meeting with Southern Illinois? Take a look at the homer predictions, and then consider the Wildcats lost 31-24 to the Salukis today in Evanston.

The win gives SIU its first win of the season, as they entered the afternoon 0-2 after losses to Incarnate Word (64-29) and Southeast Missouri State (34-31). If you're thinking to yourself what exactly is Incarnate Word and hey Southeast Missouri State doesn't look like an FBS program then you're on the right track, SIU was winless against FCS opponents entering today.

...which also means it was undefeated against FBS opponents, because it had not played any. The Buckeyes visit Evanston on Nov 5, hoping to recreate some of that SIU magic.
