Miami and Notre Dame take center stage in a matchup that will surely impact the College Football Playoff race.

"Life is a wheel of fortune and it’s my turn to spin it.” -Tupac

Week 10 of the college football season was a winning one for us. We were victorious on six of our ten submissions and the cash continues to flow despite a couple horrendous calls that just about everyone knew were going to come back to bite us.

The over/under for the Oklahoma versus Oklahoma State game was set at 77 points. Our strategy forced us to take the under all the while knowing darn well that this one was going to be a shootout. So what went down at Bedlam? Well Baker Mayfield accounted for just about 600 yards and six touchdowns all by himself, and the Heisman frontrunner led the Sooners to a 62-52 victory.

The Cowboys almost scored as many points as the Hawkeyes (*sad face*), but it still wasn't enough in a game that featured exactly zero defense. This came as no surprise, and we pretty much chalked that one up as a big "L" the minute we placed the bet.

We also had Florida (+3) on the road at Missouri and the Tigers proceeded to take down the Gators by a score of 45-16. What else can be said about Florida? They're simply an awful team that doesn't even have a head coach at the moment.

In the SEC, South Carolina and Georgia did us a few favors. We had the Gamecocks (+24) and also took the under 44.5 points. Kirby Smart and Will Muschamp clearly are not fans of one Richard Clay Travis as South Carolina kept it close with a final score of 24-10. That's a double score for the good guys. #ShootersShoot

The Hurricanes also bested the Hokies by a score of 28-10. I have no idea why Virginia Tech was favored in that one, but we were all over Miami (+3). Spoiler alert: We are hoping Mark Richt will once again deliver for us this weekend.

Weekly reminder:

  • No analysis is involved as we are just making the opposite picks. None of this actually reflects our gambling thoughts, opinions, or insight.
  • For now we are sticking with $10 on each line. Please note that the lines do move throughout the week.
  • Ohio State won't be included on our end.

My worst nightmares have come true.

There have been a few plays that I've identified as the ones I absolutely hate making and would never willingly submit on my own accord. We may now be doomed because it's week 11 and we are officially going against all of the cardinal rules of college football betting.

  1. Butch Jones
  2. Bert Bielema
  3. The over on a game involving Florida
  4. The under on a Big 12 game

The four kisses of death have officially been planted all over this beautiful face, and the only hope is to pray for a miracle. Perhaps Florida will go back to its old ways and hang 60 on South Carolina (lolz) or Butch Jones will save his job and win again an actual, real-life SEC opponent (double lolz)?

There are four other submissions outside the quartet of inevitable fail, but I'm not sure how I feel about those either.

Georgia is on a roll right now despite last weekend's lackluster performance, but going on the road to Auburn won't be easy. Still, I don't exactly feel confident on the Tigers (+3). I'm kind of feeling the same about Penn State. Obviously the Nittany Lions are the better team, but 31 points is a hefty line, even against a team like Rutgers. My hope is that James Franklin and Co. are extremely angry after the back-to-back losses to the Buckeyes and Spartans.

Miami (+3.5) is one that I do kind of like. Hurricane Richt has been good to us, so let's hope for a repeat this weekend. Is there anything worse than all of the random, fair-weather Notre Dame fans suddenly coming out of the woodwork?

Unfortunately we are not forecasting too great of a weekend, but there are still several weeks remaining on our mission to #GetRich.
