When two things people like collide, people tend to lose their shit. So it's no surprise people turn to sports stars in search of baby names.

Urban Meyer's and Braxton Miller's success led to boons in baby Urbans and Braxtons in Ohio, and it appears the phenomenon happened elsewhere.

From wsj.com:

No babies born last year in the state of Alabama were given the name Saban. That’s actually a surprise.

Nick Saban became Alabama’s football coach on a blessed day in 2007, and that same year there were two Alabamans born with the first name Saban, according to the Alabama Center for Health Statistics. Two years later, when Saban won his first title with the Crimson Tide, there were four Sabans born. Every year since then has seen more baby Sabans—until 2015.

Seems last year's baby Sabans were victims of the porn tsunami that engulfed Alabama after the 2015 Sugar Bowl.
