AJ McCarron indicated in the lead up to the draft that "a lot" of NFL teams had told him he was a first round pick. The former Alabama signal caller then slid all the way to the Cincinnati Bengals with the 164th pick in the fifth round.

ESPN and the NFL Network both reported during the draft that McCarron "rubbed teams the wrong way," and even suggested his reality TV show with girlfriend Katherine Webb was a red flag.

Well, it appears McCarron is fed up. From Al.com:

On Saturday, Savage asked McCarron what he had been working on since his final game at Alabama.

"I've been working on the whole game itself, my footwork, arm slot," he explained. "A lot of people don't realize I wasn't healthy at Alabama. I sacrificed a lot to play for coach (Nick) Saban and that university. I played through a lot of injuries, and we never leaked it because that's just the way it is.

"I played through a lot and just always tried to fight through for my teammates and my team and the University of Alabama."

Naturally, fans of "that university" took this as some sort of slight. AJ responded by unleashing another one of his rants on Twitter:

I assume AJ got a frantic call from his agent this morning informing him it's time to log off.
