With current #1 Florida falling at Vandy today could a national 1 vs. 2 showdown in Columbus on Sunday February 25th be looming? If so, it would be a bit ironic since OSU would likely be ranked in the top spot even though Wisconsin beat the Buckeyes 72-69 in the Kohl Center back in early January. Of course, Florida would have to drop to at least #3 which remains to be seen even after falling to an unranked opponent.

To make the 1 vs. 2 matchup reality, Ohio State must win at Minnesota tomorrow and at home against Penn State next Wednesday. The Badgers, meanwhile, destroyed Penn State today and go to the Breslin Center to face Sparty on Tuesday night. With the continued inconsistency shown by the Buckeyes and the hostile environment Wisconsin will face anything is possible but a 1-2 matchup would certainly be a boost for the conference. Hopefully the weather will be perfect to increase the chances of The Schott actually filling up.
