Will the weakened secondary cost Ohio State any games?

I voted yes.  One less player to catch a Gardner arm punt in November.

It's a glaring issue. Yet we have the talent and coaching staff to improve on it. Probably see a couple blow plays this weekend but over a couple games players will step up. Urban will drive them and the players who can make it happen will step up. Who wants to be the new Chris Gamble?

Next Man Up!    Is that you Vonn?

No one left on the schedule is really pass heavy. Iowa has a fast burner, Indiana has a high powered offense as they showed us last year, and Michigan has one receiver that we can stick Roby on. We made Wisconsin beat us by passing, they tried and failed. It will be the game plan for every game going forward in my mind, stack the box, blitz plenty and make them beat us over the top. We should be fine.

Vonn? Vonn is that you? The freshmen will step up. I have faith..

I trust the staff, and respect the talent.

There's no replacing Christian Bryant, but I'm confident someone (Pittsburgh, Vonn, Ron Tanner) can step up.

(engage sarcastic font) Can Kenny G play man to man?

I am not very smart, but I recognize that I am not very smart.

If this happened to any other team, it would be a major issue.  The coaching staff has recruited with great success, so I'm not concerned at all.  I'm sure there is going to be a blown assignment here and there, but that comes with the territory.

I am not to concerned with replacing Bryant's production and talent on the field as I am with replacing his leadership out there.  Not saying he isn't a good player, but we have a lot of talent behind him.
The concerning thing is replacing a new starter for arguably the most challenging game of the regular season.

I think we have some excellent talent back there in the 2-deep.  My gut feeling is that there is a surprise or two in there that is about to show up in a good way.

In old Ohio there's a team that's known throughout the land...

I said no but it IS a concern. You just can't replace leadership. However at the start of the year, we all kind of figured Vonn Bell would end up stepping in this way. Just maybe not full time. There's also Pittsburgh Brown who is more than capable of stepping in.

Unless it's the last game of the year against Alabama or someone who can throw the ball? No. I don't think it will cost us a game. We don't really play anyone who seems like a threat to me.

The first man gets the ((((Oyster)))), the second man gets the shell.

I look forward to someone stepping up & making themselves be known.

Only in a bowl game can I see Pittsburgh Brown, Tyvis Powell, or Vonn Bell's inexperience cost us a game. The highest ranked team OSU will play in the B1G will be around 15th.

I've spent time in the South, I don't care what anybody says they don't have the passion for football that us Ohioans have.

No. the Buckeyes will be fine. There is plenty of talent on the roster.
