Big Ten Hockey's review crew has been busy these last few weeks. On Monday, in addition to sanctions against Wisconsin's Aidan Cavallini and Eddie Wittchow,  the conference announced Ohio State defenseman Josh Healey has been suspended for two games as a result of his contact-to-the-head check early in the third period of last Saturday’s game. It is Healey's second encounter with B1G Hockey’s supplemental disciple this season.

The Edmonton, Alberta native has skated in 21 games for the Scarlet and Gray this season. In addition to his physical presence, Healey has contributed four goals and eight assists to the Buckeye cause. The numbers are career marks for the junior blue liner, who boasts points in 10 of his last 12 games.

Healey must sit out both games of the upcoming series against Michigan State. The Buckeyes are on a bye the following week. Healey will be eligible to return on February 12 when Ohio State hosts Minnesota.
