Ohio State's freshmen, newcomers, specialists and a few redshirts took the field Sunday morning for the first practice of the Buckeyes' 2016 fall camp. The rest of the team will hit the field approximately 3:30 p.m.

The open portion of practice was filled with a lot of intensity from head coach Urban Meyer and his assistants in an attempt to get the newcomers accustomed to life as an Ohio State football player.

Media was able to watch roughly the first 30 minutes of Sunday morning's practice, which consisted mostly of stretching and individual drills. Check out some footage in the video posted above.

Be sure to stick with Eleven Warriors all day as we'll have continuous coverage from Day 1 of fall camp.
