Our long voyage without college football crosses a noteworthy threshold today.

We are officially 100 sunrises away from Ohio State's 2017 season opener, a Thursday night affair in Bloomington, Indiana against the Indiana Hoosiers set for Aug. 31.

The matchup is set to mark the first time in 51 seasons of Ohio State football that the Buckeyes open their season against a Big Ten opponent. You can learn more about that opponent here.

While we wait, let's pass the time with 100 things about Urban Meyer's sixth Ohio State team.

100. Days until the start of the 2017 football season. It is also the number of touchdowns J.T. Barrett is responsible for during his Buckeye career.
99. Ohio State's 2017 season marks the first in two decades without Luke Fickell involved in some form, arguably the best player to ever wear No. 99 for the Buckeyes.
98. One of 18 numbers between 1-99 not worn by an Ohio State player at this time, including walk-ons. That will change once the rest of the freshmen show up next month.
97. The number of Nick Bosa, entering his sophomore season already armed with five sacks and seven tackles for loss as part of Larry Johnson's fabled Rushmen package.
