Former Ohio State cornerback Gareon Conely stands accused of raping a woman on April 9 in a Westin Hotel in downtown Cleveland. Though Cleveland police named him a suspect, they have yet to charge him in a crime.

Wednesday, hours after former teammate Marshon Lattimore defended him, Conley issued a statement, via his agent to ESPN, on the "untrue, wrongful, and malicious" allegations.

In it, Conley says "several" witnesses have given statements "that give an accruate account of what took place." He also claims video evidence will "further discredit and disprove other versions of these events."
