The locals were restless about the offense this week in Columbus, and Urban Meyer's men answered with a 94-yard opening-possession touchdown drive.
It was the best opening possession of the season. Mike Weber capstoned the nine-play drive with a one-yard touchdown plunge.
The drive also involved a Curtis Samuel 16-yard reception, a seven-yard pass to Noah Brown, and 30 total yards from Weber.
An ensuing Tyler Durbin PAT made it 7-0, local team.
