It's been quite some time since Joey Bosa played in a football game.

The wait will finally come to an end Sunday.

According to multiple reports, the former Ohio State All-American defensive end will make his NFL debut Sunday for the San Diego Chargers.

The Chargers selected Bosa with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft following a standout three-year career with the Buckeyes. But a lengthy contract holdout forced Bosa to miss all of training camp.

Bosa finally signed before the season started, but he had to sit out the team's first four games due to a nagging hamstring injury. He was not listed on the Chargers' injury report Friday and is expected to make his debut Sunday in Oakland.

"It's been a frustrating journey, but it's been a great journey," Bosa said, via Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune. "I'm definitely ready."

The Oakland Raiders host the San Diego Chargers on Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET on CBS.
