Buckeyes in the NFL, Week 16: The Egregious Kurt Coleman Pro Bowl Snub, Even Though He'll Probably Make it Anyway

The Pro Bowl is of little significance to fans but many player contracts include a hefty bonus for making it to Hawaii. Fans make up one-third of the voting process while players and coaches make up the rest. So who do we blame for Kurt Coleman's Pro Bowl snub?

He hasn't picked off a pass in two weeks but did record an interception in five-straight games. Plus, Coleman leads the NFC in total picks. He may not travel to Hawaii anyway if the one-loss Panthers make the Super Bowl, but he's certainly worthy of the honor regardless.

At least a fellow Buckeye has his back:

One could also make the argument that Malcolm Jenkins also deserves to go to the Pro Bowl. He's the second-highest rated safety in the league according to Pro Football Focus.

Bucs Activate Evan Spencer

Tampa Bay placed Evan Spencer on their practice squad after he reached an injury settlement with Washington earlier in the season. Now, he's a member of the Buccaneers' 53-man roster.

Spencer, whose father is on Lovie Smith's staff, had a chance to make his debut against his hometown Bears.

"It's amazing," Spencer said, via ESPN.com. "I get to fulfill a childhood dream and get to go out there and play football against another NFL team and suit up for another NFL team. It's something that I've been looking forward to for a very long time and it being against Chicago makes it even better."

Alas, the Bucs did deactivated Spencer meaning he did not suit up against the Bears. Hopefully he can make his official debut in week 17 when Tampa takes on Carolina.

Play of the WeAk

No Buckeye had a highlight-worthy play – a rarity in the 2015 NFL season. Hopefully Bradley Roby or even Mike Nugent rectify this tonight on Monday Night Football.

For now, we'll have to exploit Andrew Norwell in this attempt to block Atlanta's Ra'Shede Hageman:
