Pure, unadulterated Ohioan. Ohio State alum as of June 2012. Lived in the Buckeye state for all but six months of his life. Those six months were spent in Bristol, Connecticut while, yes, working for ESPN. Scott Van Pelt has complimented his facial hair.

  • SPORTS MOMENT: Most tend to go with the '03 Fiesta Bowl... I agree. Also, I want to make you feel old, so, I'll point out that I was in 7th grade at the time.
  • NFL TEAM: Cleveland Browns (insane, masochistic behavior)
  • NHL TEAM: bandwagon Blue Jackets fan
  • NBA TEAM: Cleveland Cavaliers (pity me, please)
  • MLB TEAM: Cleveland Indians (this is a cry for help)

Boeheim will obviously stress that to him, and if he knows a player is not comfortable playing 2-3 zone, he's not going to take him. But with many of these kids, it's about developing their offensive game first and Cuse can give a versatile player, such as Howard, a lot of freedom within their system (think Ennis, MCW, Waiters, etc).

Don't know how much of him we'll see tonight. Has to be in NYC this weekend... but that's ok he'll be on ESPNU tomorrow at 6 ET in the Dick's Sporting Goods National Tournament. Might be on the ESPN networks all weekend if his (loaded) Montverde team runs through and gets to MSG.

4/2, 9:30 PM ET on ESPN... Replay on ESPNU later in the night.

Russell's on the same team as Myles Turner. 1 Other B1G player in the game: James Blackmon Jr. (Indiana)

The girls' game is on at 7 on ESPNU. Mitchell and Kathryn Westbeld (Notre Dame) from Kettering are in that game.

Last time I spoke with his father, he said they wanted to set up a visit in the fall for a football game. Not sure if the visit "soon" would be official or they would wait until the fall to make that happen.

Not that I'm lobbying for it, but he'd fit in pretty well playing in the high post / perimeter, with Okafor on the block. Probably not ideal for his overall development, though.
