Hawai'i is going back in time for its clash with Ohio State Saturday.

The Rainbow Warriors are heavy underdogs against No. 1 Ohio State, but at least they'll look sweet in their retro road uniforms. The news was first brought to our attention by Ryan Ginn of Buckeye Sports Bulletin.

From hawaiiathletics.com:

The University of Hawai'i football team will unveil a new road retro uniform for its highly anticipated match-up against defending national champion Ohio State, Saturday, at Ohio Stadium.

The all-white Under Armour uniform will feature rainbow stripes on the shoulder pad and rainbow stripes down the sides of the pant. The white top is patterned after the kelly green home retro set the team has been sporting for the past two seasons.

A white helmet with green facemasks and 1980s rainbow logo will accompany the uniform.

A full gallery of the old "new" threads can be seen here. Pretty slick.
