Curtis Samuel vs. Cincinnati

It wasn't the freshmen bonanza of the Kent State game, but the freshmen class was led by contributions from some familiar (by now) faces: Curtis Samuel and Raekwon McMillan. (Cincinnati fell, 50-28.)

McMillan led the defensive freshmen efforts, registering three tackles. Samuel paced the offensive freshmen with five rushes for 21 yards; he was limited since coughing up an early fumble, and due to the industrious efforts of sophomore Ezekiel Elliott.

Jalyn Holmes logged a tackle, and Jamarco Jones was the only other freshman to receive non-special teams playing time. Despite promises to play Sam Hubbard, the versatile Cincinnatian wasn't listed in the non-starting participation report.

For the rest of the Dream '14, a redshirt is looking inevitable.
