Expected to announce his college decision on National Signing Day, Las Vegas, Nevada, Bishop Gorman four-star safety Bubba Bolden will instead do so at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio, Texas, on Jan. 7, 2017. He'll pick between Ohio State and USC.

Ohio State had some early momentum with Bishop Gorman teammates Tate Martell, Tyjon Lindsey and Haskell Garrett in the fold, and many believed the 6-foot-3, 190-pounder would commit during his official visit in November. But Bolden, a one-time USC pledge, did not make the call that weekend.

The Trojans have stepped up their recruitment in recent weeks, and Bolden was set to visit Los Angeles in mid-January. Their Rose Bowl resurgence doesn't hurt, but it's unclear at this time if Bolden will still make the trip following his announcement.

Ohio State's scholarship numbers continue to be an issue, and with Shaun Wade reaffirming his commitment, Darnay Holmes looking like a realistic possibility and Jeffrey Okudah considered a virtual lock, it's hard to see how Bolden would fit in the class.

Eleven Warriors will have a more detailed look at the defensive back situation later on in the afternoon.
