Speculation swirled when 4-star Canton, Michigan, offensive tackle and Ohio State commit Michael Jordan's father sent out a press release last weekend saying his son had a "huge announcement" coming soon.

Birm prognosticated in Monday's Hurry Up that Jordan's announcement could be about which All-American game he'd be playing in or that he would enroll early at Ohio State. Turns out, he was right on both.

The Plymouth High School star is ready to get to work with Ed Warinner and Urban Meyer in January, which can only be a good thing for the future of Ohio State's offensive line. He committed in May after earning a Buckeye scholarship offer at Friday Night Lights prior to his junior season.

The 6-foot-6, 285-pound behemoth is the nation’s 14th-ranked offensive tackle and the 122nd overall ranked recruit.
