The Hurry Up is your nightcap of Ohio State recruiting news, catching you up on the day’s events with an ear on the ground for what’s next.

MYERS COMMITTING TO FLORIDA COULD LEAD TO VICTOR-Y FOR BUCKEYES?

There's a number of possibilities remaining as the Buckeyes look to expand their 2016 wide receiver haul by one, and a development in Gainesville today could have an impact on how things play out down the line.

That is Jayvaughn Myers, whose brother, Nate Craig-Myers, is the country's top-ranked wide receiver and a Buckeyes' target. As you can see, Jayvaughn, a cornerback, has committed to Florida and there's a number of folks out there – myself included – who feel this could potentially swing Nate to Gainesville as well.

How then, does this impact the Buckeyes? Well, it may not affect them even a little bit, but it's at least worth paying attention to. If Nate Craig-Myers were to eventually end up at Florida (although conventional wisdom still says Florida State is the favorite) he would be the fourth wide receiver in their class (five if you include Tyrek Tisdale) and that could make the choice for Binjimen Victor to leave the state a bit easier.

Victor is a bit higher on the Ohio State board than Craig-Myers at the moment and a full house at Florida means Tennessee and Ohio State's odds would go up.

Could be something, could be nothing, but interesting nonetheless.

GRAY THINKING SCARLET

Ohio State has two commitments from Top 100 offensive tackles already in the 2017 class, but they're still on the prowl for future slobs. Last night, Rivals.com analyst Marc Givler dropped the news that Lawrenceville, Georgia's Tony Gray, a 6-foot-5, 265-pounder, would be visiting Columbus this month. The Central Gwinnett High School star has family in Cleveland and will make the visit on August 22nd.

The Buckeyes went to Central Gwinnett in 2013 when they signed linebacker Trey Johnson, who left the program with medical issues following the national championship season. Gray has a Buckeye offer and already holds offers from Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Georgia, Florida State, Florida and more. He's the 112th-ranked prospect in the 2017 class.

ISAIAH WILSON PLANNING OHIO STATE VISIT

Staying on the topic of 2017 lineman, let's take a look at the one guy who could rival Josh Myers as the country's best by the time the final rankings for that class come around, Isaiah Wilson. A five-star prospect from Brooklyn, Wilson is a mammoth at 6-foot-7 and 320-pounds and his considerable size is only slightly smaller than his potential.

From 247Sports.com:

His feet are elite- he can move them as well as most of the offensive tackle prospects I’ve watched during my career- and get to where he needs to be in a hurry. This also is evident in his defensive clips where he shines as a defensive tackle making play after play. Watch his offensive tackle clips when he pulls. He gets there in a hurry and then obliterates a potential defender. Also, I was told that Wilson clocked a 5.3-second 40-yard dash this past summer during an unofficial visit. He was wearing his socks and a pair of basketball shorts.

Wilson told 11W that he's been in contact with Ohio State through his coach when he's been able – NCAA rules prohibit direct contact – and that Ed Warinner has let him know he's priority.

Wilson, who has recently visited South Carolina and Clemson, has a "favorite" 10 schools that include Ohio State, Michigan and a few others.

Ohio State will hope to see Wilson on campus this fall and he's likely to be a commonly-heard name after September 1st when contact rules change a bit.

FULLER THINKING HARD ABOUT HIS VISITS

One of the players listed in today's list of "most likely to end up in the Buckeyes' 2016 class" story was New Jersey's Jordan Fuller. Recently, Fuller visited Penn State,Notre Dame and TCU, but skipped a possible trip to Ohio State for Friday Night Lights. I caught up with the country's 10th-ranked athlete and asked him how those trips went.

"The (Notre Dame) trip was pretty good," Fuller said. "I got to learn a lot about them. I just wish the players had been around. They mostly sell their "four for 40" stuff about the program. The Lasch Bash was real cool for sure."

Fuller has not been to Ohio State since April and he told me that right now he's not sure when – or if – he'll make an official visit to Columbus. He says he's been hearing from the Buckeyes as much as ever, though.

"I talk to Ohio State every day it seems," he said. "It was so many coaches yesterday (laughs), it was legit 10 coaches, they were probably all in a meeting and they all DM'd me yesterday in the morning. It's mostly non-football stuff, like 'what have you been up' and 'how's your family.' The last time we talked about a visit was like a week ago."

What did the visit discussion reveal?

"I may just go there for a normal visit, not an official," Fuller said. "I most likely will (take an official) but it's not secure yet. I'm leaning towards later in the season, I'm just not sure of my five official visits yet."
