Ohio State's brand usually sells itself, but it never hurts to add in a touch of the best basketball player on the planet to help the cause.

That's exactly what the men's basketball program did Friday, sending out a photo of its new shoe display with each and every sneaker of LeBron James' shoe line the team's worn since the partnership commenced in 2007.

James has his own locker within the walls of the Jerome Schottenstein Center and isn't shy about saying that if he had gone to college, it would have been at Ohio State. He's been seen roaming the sideline of some Buckeye football games since returning to the Cleveland Cavaliers in summer 2014, a welcome visitor for head coach Urban Meyer.

Such an icon doesn't go unnoticed by Thad Matta, either, and the new display is some fine eye candy for recruits as they make their way through the Schottenstein Center.
