Ohio State Women's Tennis Secures Perfect 11-0 Record in Big Ten Play, Second-Straight Conference Title On Senior Day

With a win over Purdue on senior day, OSU women's tennis went a perfect 11-0 B1G and earned its second straight regular-season conference crown.

On Senior Day Sunday, the No. 5 Ohio State women's tennis team ended its regular-season slate with a perfect 11-0 conference record clinching the program's second straight Big Ten regular-season crown.

Four seniors were honored prior to the start of the matches, including Ferny Angeles Paz, Gabriella De Santis, Miho Kowase and Sandy Niehaus.

The Scarlet and Gray started the day with a two doubles wins to secure the doubles point in the match, before commencing the singles matches by claiming the first set on all six courts.

Sophomore Francesca Di Lorenzo led the singles with a straight-set victory (6-0, 6-0) on court one.

In a perfect ending, the seniors Angeles Paz and De Santis secured the final two victories to secure the win over the Boilermakers.

Ohio State will begin in quest for the Big Ten Tournament crown on Thursday, April 27 at the University of Illinois.
