The No. 1 men's volleyball team broke a 47-year-old school record Thursday night when it strolled into Muncie, Indiana, and topped No. 12 Ball State for its 33rd win in a row.

This was an especially sweet victory for Pete Hanson's men as Ball State was the last team to beat them—all the way back on Feb. 6th, 2016.

Coincidentally, Ball State was also ended the 1970's 32-game win streak.

The Buckeyes trailed 21-16 in the first set but battled all the way back to win, 29-27, after Hanson burned his second timeout. The Bucks stormed through the second set, winning 25-19.

After trailing early, the Buckeyes won the third set 25-22.

Senior Miles Johnson led the Buckeyes with 13 points and 19 kills. He also chipped in five aces.
