According to his college coach on Twitter, Snow College (Utah) RB Jeffie Johnson will walk-on at Ohio State. As a sophomore at Snow College, Johnson ran for 181 yards on 31 carries in eight games.

He is originally a member of the class of 2011 from Hilliard Bradley. He is listed at 5-10, 195 pound in his college bio. Here are some high school highlights.

UPDATE: I spoke with Jeffie Johnson and he tells me he will be playing DB for Ohio State and is set to enroll next week. He was drawing interest from Pikeville, Tiffin, Minot State and Quincey University.

That's a hell of a position to have to walk on at.  Good luck to the young man, that is a stacked back field for sure.

I don't always downvote, but I do always downvote a Michigan fan trolling the Buckeye boards.

Welcome to the Buckeyes JJ.  If you can walk on and make the Team, that says a lot.  Good luck.

I wholeheartedly support anyone who uses "Can't Be Touched" by Roy Jones Jr as their highlight song. Certified #Banger.

When I walked in this morning and saw the flag was at half mast I thought, "Alright, another bureaucrat ate it." but then I saw it was Li'l Sebastian. Half mast is too high. Show some damn respect.

Welcome to the Bucks.  On a side note, did anyone watching his highlight tape think there were an abundance of ~6 yard gains?  I don't often see short yard gains in highlight tapes.

Special teams demons every team needs them..Hell some guys carve out a niche in the League starting out as a teams specialist. Hopefully the young man can make his name be known.

Mark my words..I don't need acceptance. I'm catching interceptions on you innocent pedestrians.

Jeffie played club ball with me at OSU a few years ago before attending Snow, kid loves the game of football, glad to see that he has continued to pursue it, makes it even better that it's for his hometown school.

He needs a nickname.  I nominate "Silky".

I was thinking Jeffie "Jazz" Johnson, but Silky works well.

Jeffie Johnson will no longer walk-on at Ohio State. He notified me that he has accepted a scholarship offer from Quincy University.

Can't blame a young man for taking the scholarship offer.

Good luck to him.

Cant fault the young man for getting a  free education. Big difference from having to pay back all those loans or getting them paid for you.

He's listed on the roster and was mentioned in the article about OSU's running back depth, so I'm guessing he enrolled after all?
