Doesn't look like Toledo St. John's OL Matt Miller will be a Buckeye. Spoke to the staff tonight and they told him it looks like they are not going to take "another guard". My guess is Matt ends up at Michigan State or Wisconsin, but I found it interesting he said "another guard" being that Evan Lisle is the only OL in the class and is a tackle. If I had to guess I think the staff could be referring to Donovan Munger or Billy Price, unless there is a complete sleeper in the bag or Matt just misheard them. Either way looks like Miller will not be a Buckeye.

Kid could easily be a tackle he's like 6'5 260 and an athletic one. Man we are really missing on these OL we just let Welsh go to Iowa too. Guessing Peterson is not gonna be in the class by no more guards comment. Hopefully we don't whiff on Finley since that seems who we have all our eggs in his basket now

Well, it seems clear that we have plenty of OL who can play Guard. Even Mewhort was a Guard last season. What we definitely lack are OTs, so I would assume that is the staff's focus.

I would be prepared to whiff on Finley... unless insiders have other information, his most recently stated leaders are Illinois and MSU. True that his OSU offer is pretty fresh, and anything can happen. Given he's from Detroit Cass Tech, it would be that much more significant if we can get him.

He actually stated OSU, MSU, and Illinois as his leaders after his OSU visit---he wasn't expecting to have as good of a visit as he did to Columbus....also plans to take officials so time here...I think it's MSU-OSU with the Spartans tough to beat being in state, in on him first, and the fact that his older sister goes there
