Miami (FL) Puts DJ, Light Show in Weight Room

The University of Miami has long had their own way of doing things.

The last time we saw them mix football and music, however, it ended disastrously with the "7th Floor Crew."

Today, they again gave the mixture a go. When players walked into the weight room for their morning workout, there was a DJ and a light show to greet them.

Long live Da U.

Speaking of Miami BREAKING NEWS: Jacory Harris just threw another interception...back to this little tidbit, I just don't even understand. The powers at be "Hmmm what should we invest this money in...I know, we'll throw some DJ lights in the weight room"

It's too bad they can't figure out a way to put a good team in the weight room.

"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.

Personally I would hate that type of distraction in the gym.

This. How the hell are you supposed to squat a shit-ton of weight (or spot someone that is for that matter) with all of that stuff going on? Give me a room full of focused guys any day over this.

If Al Golden was DJ-ing that party, my guess is they worked out to Air Supply, Christopher Cross, Gordon Lightfoot, and Dan Fogelberg.

This is just weird.  Some people just like to think WAYY outside the box.

Good for them if they enjoy it though.

7th Floor Crew is a classic.  I used to jam to that when I was in high school.

Still all the hype, without anything to back it up on the field in nearly 15 years. Will lead to continued mediocrity.  The talent they get, and what they've produced ... Those kids need their asses kicked for a few years.

I hate Miami.

Thank the Maker that I was born in Ohio, cradle of coaches, US Presidents, confederate-stomping Generals, and home of The Ohio State University Football Buckeyes!

I'm just happy that "the nephew" wasn't visible in the video.
