Shut It Down, Folks: Rich Rodriguez Has Just Swept the 2015 Oscars

The Oscars were last night, and I didn't watch them because I hate award shows. I also won't be watching the 89th Academy Awards because Rich Rodriguez just swept every single category.

Thank goodness Michigan shoved this guy out the door, because he's way too suave to ever coach at a school of stiffs like Michigan. Actor, football coach, sheriff... is there anything this man can't do?

I don't see how Saban or Bert come back from this. There's no coming back from this. Take a bow, Rich Rodriguez. I'm now a secondary fan of the Arizona Wildcats, a "good football team."

I'm now a huge Rich Rod fan.  The guy gets it.

I never watch the Oscars or Academy awards either, nor the Grammys', but I do like Rich Rod. Too bad scum forced him out. Screw Bert and Nick.

Can't wait to see what Bert's idiot wife will tweet about this.

I know there's a game Saturday, and my ass will be there.

Can't wait to see what Bert's idiot wife will tweet about this.

She'll tweet "#karma" when the 4th string, true freshman LB goes down with a groin pull in spring practice.

If you only knew the POWER of the Dark Side.

Rich is just the gift that keeps giving! Hard not to pull for the guy now, the better he does the dumber TTUN looks for giving up on him. Rich may have gotten off to a rocky start for TTUN but he at least was improving each season. But they just had to have a missagain man! Hoke goes 11-2, then 8-5, then 7-6. I wonder if Hoke gets another chance if they post a losing record this year (just because he's a 'missagain man' who 'gets it').

Football is complicated...

Well DJ he won't win every Oscar in 2015...And the Douchebags of the year award go to (drumroll here please)  BERT & Satin!!!

Priceless.  However, I feel like Rich Rod did a pretty terrible job of preparing the passengers for the freeway gap jump.

I want a fat Bert look-a-like, otherwise perfect

Exactly, that guy was nowhere near fat enough to portray Bert. Then again, who is?

They couldn't get anyone that size into the studio.

Maybe they should have tried CGI instead.

Hoke auditioned for the part but he had trouble doing the lines without saying Uh and Um all the time.

May you R.I.P. Otsego, but know this. Gaylord Rocks!

Quality.

Now we just need LSU Freek to come up the appropriate Bert/Tuscaloosifer response.

The new A-Rod.  Nice, neat and to the point.  Like hockey, no foul just play on.

I think every press conferance that Bert or Saban has needs to incorporate the 'hidden agenda' phrase into it. That is gold, RichRod.  Well played, sir, well played.

I loved the part at the very end about any likeness to the movie speed or any of its actors is purely coincidental.

We'll do a speed limit if Saban does a size/strength limit on his players, you know, for "player safety concerns"...

They tried to get Jabba the Hutt to play Bert, but Jabba just couldn't put on enough weight to play the role.

I wish the NCAA would allow flex scheduling.

Would love to see Arizona vs. Arkansas this season.

I would say it could happen in a bowl game, but I don't see Bert leading the Hogs over .500 .

This is awsome! Of course Rich can't act, but getting Sandra Bullock into the film? I might have to watch that a few more times.

Not that DickRod isn't a big time coach, but 2 NC winners just publicly derided the proposed rule change. Bobby Bowden and Gus Malzahn. Both voiced the obvious: Let's see the evidence that fast play produces more injuries.

Is TTUN really so shitty that they take someone who's apparently pretty cool and turn him into a miserable loser?

WVU Rich Rod......spread offense works; win games.

TTUN Rich Rod......tries to run the spread; terrible teams; lots of losses; strife with admin.

Arizona Rich Rod ....... program on the rise; seems like a cool guy.

M Man's picture

Well "I was RichRod when RichRod wasn't cool."

And the Rodriguez spread was beginning to work pretty well in Ann Arbor.  Number 1 in the Conference in total offense in 2010.  Defense was last in the Conference.

Now that's *gulp* the Bucks...?  smh
