Just a side effect of the coaching change. He was a possession receiver, not a home run threat inside or outside. Then he got injured, missed time, and got passed on the depth chart. Glad he'll be able to play right away.
I will be interested to see what position he plays. With his ability, he should be able to dominate the competition at quarterback, or out wide. Good luck, Verlon! See ya in the fall!
Good luck and thanks for giving up your scholarship for someone else. It may seem a bit blunt, but it's a lot better for both parties. Hope he does well there.

I'm wishing Verlon the best. He represented Ohio State well and will always be a Buckeye to be remembered.
I hope the kid has a great career and life. Good luck Mr. Reed, always a Buckeye.
Agreed. Always a sad thing to see.
I forget. What happened with Verlon?

Talked to my bestfriend that also plays at Findlay. He told me word is that Verlon's going to play quarterback there. Good for him.
Best of luck to Verlon
