If we can pull it off Saturday then I expect to get back near the top 5. After the MSU game we have 4 games that should be wins. That would be a 7 game win streak in B1G spanning 4 weeks. That will jump you up in polls real fast.
I see us as a 4 seed unless we dramatically improve in our play on both sides of the court for the full 40 minutes. I said in another post that the first 10 minutes in Sunday's game were our best and we can beat anyone when we play like that. The problem is that we played OK for another 15 minutes and bad for 15 minutes. The fact that we held on for the win is encouraging, but we've got to learn how to play a more complete, consistent game and keep the intensity up. Right now, we're just too inconsistent, but there's a lot of time to improve and I hope we do, there's a big difference between a 2/3 and a 4/5 seed.
Your analysis of how long we play how well is spot on - See the Duke game for how this worked out, as we played a pretty solid first half, and then... well, we didn't exactly win that one.
Illinois' recent tailspin has me further wondering "what they hell went wrong?" in our embarassing loss at Champaign... But your comments above pretty well sum that up, too.

Just keep winning. Everything else will fall into place.
BEE-EYE-GEE! BEE-EYE-GEE! BEE-EYE-GEE!
4-6 seconds from point A to point B and when you get to point B, be pissed off
Wait a second... did you change your picture without giving a public service announcement?
