I don't think he has the intention to leave. Interviewing will give him a bump in salary at PSU and plus he'll look like more of a hero to the PSU faithful when he announces that he's staying

I think that's it. He's a smart guy, when you have multiple teams looking at you, you need to at least entertain them if you ever plan on getting a job in the NFL later. But this way he can come back and be the good guy, and talk to his players and say, "I could have left, but I chose to stay, what about you?"
