things that won't be said during the 3 days of the NFL draft:
"kind of suprised Duron Carter has fallen this far down the draft board"
"look for the New England Patriots to select a WR with their next pick. Duron Carter seems like a Belicheck kind of guy"
"with Jim Tressel, Nick Saban and his dad, NFL great Chris Carter having failed to get through to Duron, and get him on the right track, the Oakland Raiders may be just the organization to give him the stability and counsel he needs to finally shine."
Carter and The Honey Badger might hang out together in a parked 1987 Lincoln Continental, getting their smoke on, before they go in and take the Wonderlic exam.
“Right now, Michigan is not at the pinnacle of college football, and that’s all Urban Meyer cares about...He’s been there and knows what it takes to get there.”
Hey, if at first you don't succeed try, try, try, try* again.
*without ever actually trying
Gawker put up tweets of teenagers complaining about the Christmas presents their parents got them (most common seemed receiving a Kindle Fire when having requested an iPad). I imagine Duron is a lot like those teens.

It's really a shame because when he was in high school I kept hearing how smart he was and how he worked really hard and kept himself prepared and was focused etc. I guess he lost that once he got out on his own.
I'm thinking maybe Duron was mollycoddled growing up. It's either that or the "only-child syndrome." Don't know if he has siblings, but it seems to me the kid has a spoiled, bratty, entitled mentality. Glad he left OSU and didn't disrupt things even more during the TatGate era. Would have just been fuel to the fire.

You are a train wreck and sure to be an NFL bust. Therefore, I am sure the Browns will fall in love with you and pee away no lower than a 3rd round pick on you. Welcome to Cleveland. (Sigh...).
I don't know Duron as a person, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him do well in the league. Or at least a professional league somewhere (probably in Canada a la Ken-Yon Rambo). Playing professional sports is alot easier in my mind than in college. You can focus all of your attention on your sport and getting better. Obviously there's no classes or tests you have to prepare for, and you don't have to worry about money or working. From the moment you wake up til the moment you go to sleep, all you really NEED to focus on is your sport. Some guys can handle that and excel, others can't. If Duron is truly focused on wanting to be successful at football, I think he has the talent to make it happen
His only playing experience the last what 4 years was at a Juco? I suppose he could make it, but I just don't see how a guy who hasn't played any time in significant football games for several years will be successful in the NFL.
Back when he played JUCO, I remember checking out his stats and was less than impressed. I had thought at the time that he would be coming back to OSU. But anyway, I do think the guy has talent, but he's clearly not an effort guy and has trouble focusing. If Jim Tressel and Nick Saban both can't get through to him, in my mind, he's doomed. He may surprise me, but I doubt it.

What a good chuckle for my thursday evening
your newest undrafted free agent Duron Carter
Funny thing is I think someone takes a shot
And by "someone" I assume you mean either the Raiders or the Jets?

They'll take a shot, it won't work out, and I'll keep laughing
agreed someone will hope he can turn his life around like Cris did and it just might work as his biggest issue has been attending class.
Well, he can always have a great career as an insurance salesman. That degree from...wait, did he graduate from anywhere?

If at first and second and third and fourth you don't succeed, try, try again without really trying, because, c'mon, trying is hard.
Well he didn't come to play school so hopefully he can play football

Did anyone check to make sure that he didnt just import his charachter from NCAA '13 to Madden? #GoingPro
If Denard Robinson isn't careful with spooning all that food into his mouth, he's going to end up lookin' like Whoopi Goldberg
I'm thinking Duron might want to invest in a Whizzinator.
Duron couldn't cut it in college, the son of an NFL star and with every opportunity afforded to him? I see. NFL should be a breeze then.

Thank God he didn't come to Michigan to play basketball.

Please don't thank God for anything Michigan related!
