YOU GOT MOSSED!

After Carnell Tate’s incredible touchdown catch in double coverage against Wisconsin, Hall of Famer Randy Moss sent him a pair of signed gloves reading “YOU GOT MOSSED!”

Tate finished with six catches for 111 yards and two touchdowns in Ohio State’s 34-0 win. Entering his third season, Tate started 2025 as the Buckeyes’ second-leading receiver behind Jeremiah Smith, the 2024 Big Ten Receiver of the Year. However, Tate has recorded 34 catches for 587 yards and six scores, which proves Ohio State doesn’t have a WR1 and WR2 — it has a WR1A and WR1B.

With his presence felt each week, the 6-foot-3, 195-pound Tate continues to establish himself as one of the top draft-eligible pass catchers in the 2026 NFL draft. If Tate declares, he could extend Ohio State's streak of first-round receivers to five, following after Garrett Wilson and Chris Olave in 2022, Jaxon Smith-Njigba in 2023, Marvin Harrison Jr. in 2024 and Emeka Egbuka in 2025.
