The Ohio State basketball season is right around the corner, as easy as football can make it to forget.
On Monday, the Buckeyes opened the doors of the Schottenstein Center for students to come and watch practice, while treating them to some on-the-house concessions food and drink. Ohio State drilled its shooting, defense, free-throw shooting and half-court offense before the contingent there.
John Mobley Jr.'s sniper-like stroke continues to stand out. Be sure to catch our full highlight package at the top of the page.
Following the practice, head coach Jake Diebler addressed the Buckeye NutHouse.
"The best thing for me is you guys get to see just how hard our guys are working," Diebler said. "And it's been that way since the beginning of June. This team has worked extremely hard since we started that first week of June."

Ohio State followed that with a shooting contest featuring teams of two students paired with a Buckeye player, with the winning students receiving gift cards. Lastly, there was a group photo followed by a meet and greet with autographs and pictures from and with individual players.
