I think 7th is just about right for the Buckeyes. I was thinking if they fell to around 10 then that would be good for them moving forward. I was one of many who thought the top 5 preseason ranking was a tad too high and this team needed time to get better before battling against the elite powers. In my opinion laying low around the 7-10 range and trying to stay under the radar is where tOSU should be. The young guys need time to get better so as long as the Sophs continue to show progress as the weeks move on this team will truly be a top 10 team and a contender in March.

Hard to argue with this.

But come one. Kentucky gets their 3rd loss and they drop out of the AP top 25, but the coaches still have them @ #19 and they're the only 3 loss team on the list. Okay...

No problem with this. I thought we were ranked a little high considering the uncertainty this year. March is what counts.

Interesting to me that Indiana holds on so tight to #1 when Duke is to credit for the lone losses of #5 Louisville, #7 Ohio State and #14 Minnesota - plus the win over then-#3 Kentucky (obviously don't get a lot of credit for that two losses later). I thought the vote at the top might be a little closer than that this week with Indiana's marquee win being UNC's second loss.

Kentucky's fall from 8th to unranked is the largest plummet since the AP poll went to 25 teams in 1990.
