Wow Temple got shafted. Why, exactly, are they in the West instead of Lousiville or Cincinnati?

I'm guessing largely because Louisville > Temple and Cincinnati > Temple.

No questions Louisville should be in the west...that's absurd....at least divisions will change up in two years when Navy and a 14th team join

I'm guessing Louisville would have put up a fight having to travel to SDSU, Boise, etc.  Or at least that was the point of my post above.

Because this way they don't have to set up permanent cross division games yet.  Cinci-Louisville is both school's 2nd biggest rivalry.
