I dunno, I watched this clip on Gameday Final and it didn't look like a slap at all. Seemed like he was pissed at the guy, and ripped his headset off. Of course, when you speed it up it looks a lot more damning...
Personally, I think this is a non-issue. It's one thing if Tuberville slapped the guy, which I don't think he did. Sure, it was a dick move, but he didn't strike the guy.
Agree...thought it was a "ripping" away more than a swat. Either way, if he did that to a player, he's gone. And Texas Tech isn't the best place if that were to happen.

There is no reason for touching the other coach or his head set. To me, it is an issue and Tuberville needs to be suspended for at least two games (IMO). No man should be subject to ridicule like this. I probably would have tried to relocate Tuberville's nose closer to his ear.

I think it means that Tommy Tuberville hates Lane Kiffin as much as the rest of the world.
I don't think he slapped him, however ripping off the headset was a complete dick move, and I'm surprised the assistant didn't deck his ass.
Cause his job was more important than his pride...
I wonder if Tommy locked the kid in the closet of the equipment room after the game. Texas Tech attitude adjustment time!
