Great piece, but you'll want to ignore the comments section.

My my how things change.  Two years ago I would have read a sentimental piece about UFM and sneered. Now? I get a tissue.

Well said, Pam.  I imagine it's largely Florida fans who sneer now.

Most ungrateful bitter fans on the planet.

Very little new information in there, but wonderfully written all the same.
Bassplayer, I should have listened and not read the comments.

This article would make more sense at the end of the season...finding out how well he held up his family's contract and such.

In a way, I almost feel sorry for Coach Meyer. I love Ohio State football and I'm glad that we have a coach who has this much devotion to the program, and kids as well as the fans. I just hope he can find a balance between coaching and family so that he can find some peace. In a way, I guess maybe this article puts that all in perspective..

I think we all could learn from this article!

Yeah, great piece -- some of the best sports-writing I've seen in a long time.
