Do we still have room for another offensive lineman in this recruiting class?  I hope so...

Don't think Johnson is a guy you say no too.

"From the Did You Know department? Johnson has a cousin, Scott Booker, who played defensive back and receiver at Shady Side Academy and then at Kent State."

Scotty Booker ? ha - I know this dude from Shady Side. He's an assistant coach at Notre Dame now. I guess there's no mutual interest with Johnson & Notre Dame. I'm gonna have to talk up tOSU to him.

An offensive lineman is more important than another wide receiver. If you can't protect the QB then you can't really let routes develop for the QB.

We just saw Whitfield pick FSU because he wanted to stay home and that the problem with OSU was the distance. I hope that's not the case for Dorian. Love to see him take an official during the season to see the game day atmosphere.

I think we also probably weren't recruiting Whitfield all that hard anymore after the Taivon Jacobs committment.

Favorite Buckeye: Obviously BJ Mullens

PSU is as far from Pittsburgh as Columbus is....don't think 3 hour drive will be an issue....Orlando to Cbus is a bit different than Pitt to Cbus, just my two cents

Until I see any serious interest from this kid he is all Pitt. A shame if he goes to waste his talent in the Big (L)East.

FWIW: Pitt and Syracuse will be leaving the Big East in the next year or so (depending on negotiaions w/ conferences) and joining the ACC.

Pitt and Cuse joining the ACC won't help his cause.  They will lose more games in the ACC than they would in the Big East.  Clemson, FSU and Va Tech should still be tops in the ACC.  If he truly wants to win, he will come to OSU.  I'd hate for the kid to choose to be close to home and not have a chance of winning.  3 hours isn't a big deal.

Going from the Big East to the ACC is not that large of a step up. In the Big East they can actually do admirably. In the ACC they will probably get curb stomped by Clemson, FSU, Miami, VT and others yearly.

I totally agree. I just think Pitt is probably trying to use the jump to the ACC as a recruiting pitch for them. "We're joining a better and more competitive league" kinda deal.
