That's exactly what I was thinking. I was like, where's the Auburn Tiger or Florida Gator? You know a team that has actually dominated and won a championship recently.
2) Would that 'someone' be those in charge of implementing a playoff so that a certain conference does not get the benefit of inflated rankings that contribute to their over-representation in MNC title games?
DJ, ESPN just spent the last 8 years hyping this SEC behemouth. They have a MASSIVE TV deal with the SEC (~$250 Million). Now, they're suggesting on their cover that they're tired of their dominance and someone needs to beat them? Obviously, they're trying to pander to the rest of college football fans that they've ostracized during their SEC lovefest in order to sell magazines.
At least act like you're trying to pay attention to the happenings.

georgia has not earned the right to be on that cover

That's pretty much what I was thinking. In out-of-conference games, they lost to Boise State and Michigan State in 2011-12.

I know there's a game saturday, and my ass will be there.
hey eddie, you must have missed Deenard Robinson walk in to the room. Michigan is back on the scene with ESPN, trying to form a circle jerk.

ESPN will literally do just about anything to sell product.
Which seperates them from 99% of American businesses how, exactly?
If nothing else: Marionaire.
They're SUPPOSED to be a non biased sports news resource not an SEC / USC marketing tool.
