Still think he wants to end up at OSU, and helicopter Dad is pushing him hard to go elsewhere. Snakebitten Helicopter Dad Urban Hating Florida Alum FTW.
Man, this is a tough situation. We're actually being punished in this case because he committed to us first; I mean, he was going to face an inevitable backlash for decommitting, no matter where he was committed to. Our misfortune was having him commit to us first. The lunatic fringe of every fanbase is ugly, and unfortunately almost all of his top six (OSU, ND, UF, USC, and PSU) with the exception of Stanford have some of the most passionate and wide-reaching fanbases in the country. Hopefully, he realizes this and doesn't hold any ill will against the Bucks, though it sounds like he's really cooled on the relationship. I'd love to see this kid in Scarlet and Gray.
I couldn't agree any more with you Hodge. I think it's all but sealed that he's done with us...but I hope not. I think it might have more to do with the reactions by our idiot fans (the fringe - who we have plenty of due to the size of the fanbase) post-Waugh than anything else. I don't know why people would ever feel the need to tweet shitty things to a kid or even pick up the phone & call him??? WTF!!! It's so sad that that happens to any kid at any school...
About Alex Anzalone I think he's a hell of a football player & was pretty glad he chose Ohio State. Bosa, Burrows, & AA were my favorites on the defensive side. My first reaction to his de-commit was that it was fairly dramatic all the way around. What I did not like was that it gave tOSU a small black eye that was totally undeserved. That was disappoining & I was initially fine with him moving on. I can say now though that we would be very lucky indeed to have a kid this talented playing football for us.
Hey - if you happen to read 11W Alex - we Buckeye fans may all be Nuts - but we're not all crazy...good luck young man - whatever you choose to do.

What a charade. There is no way this kid can show his face back on campus after what he and his father said about this university and Urban Meyer. He is just trying to win over the media.
"if irony were made of strawberries, we' d all be drinking a lot of smoothies right now."
Im not talking about how good or not good he is at football. No matter how he is at football you cant expect to stay on Urban's good side when you your dad smears Urban like that. Look what happened to Robert Foster. He acted like a clown on his visit and Urban shunned him for it.

Gray, can you refresh my memory? What was is that was said that was so bad? Also, have any comments been made after these initial ones that have offended you?
While I'm at it-if Anzalone comes to OSU its safe to assume Meyer is over it. So if he is, you should be.
4-6 seconds from point A to point B and when you get to point B, be pissed off
I would welcome him in a heartbeat. Seems like a great person and an amazing athlete. If Urbz and the staff is recruiting him hard, that's all I need to hear.
Im not saying I would not take him, I would DEFINITELY still take him. Its just the baggage coming with him is A LOT. After what his dad said and acted I dont know if its really worth it.

I'm not ganging up here but his dad said a few things - so what. I mentioned above that it did give us a small black for a while & then it was over. People get emotional. If he's (AA) a great player & the staff wants him - good enough for me. If your problem is with his dad - then you can always look at it this way - he won't be the one suiting up on Saturdays...

I still hope he'll be a Buckeye, but we shall see...
Hopefully Bosa is working on him.
vacuuming sucks
Yep. They could still be our "Bash Brothers."

Helicopter Dad?
If Denard Robinson isn't careful with spooning all that food into his mouth, he's going to end up lookin' like Whoopi Goldberg

Uh, yes he can. He's pretty good at the football, and that goes a long way in allowing people to show their face[s] on campus.
Taquitos.
@Grayskull You are kidding right?

Urban is aggressively recruiting him, from what I've read. Doesn't that settle the question?
I clicked on it... I regretted it immediately...

People need to chill about recruiting.
After everyone gangs up on me...

The baggage is non-existant. It is worth it.
Nice hedging on you're DEFINITELY.
